For the month of January the Secret Show at the Epitome Gallery is displaying the photography of Humboldt Fungi. We reached out to Humboldt Fungi and this is what they said: “Humboldt Fungi is a photographer, forest explorer, and spore steward who uses their work with psychedelic mushrooms to get people interested in learning about all the other mushrooms. A merging of two worlds: the psychedelic world and the mycology world. They explore the magical forests of Humboldt County studying and showcasing the local fungi, carefully bringing mushrooms from the lab into the forest to photograph them In surreal habitats.”
